DSC UT CALIBRATION BLOCK (METRIC)

The DSC block is used to calibrate the sensitivity and shear wave distance of ultrasonic equipment. With a 25mm radius and 75mm on opposite faces, the block has a slot spaced 12.10mm from the flat surface, with a 75mm radius machined to 9.40mm depth. The block includes a 0° reference pattern for checking the exit point on the wedge, a 3.20mm diameter through hole spaced 18.80mm from the flat surface and 45°, 60° and 70° marks for measuring the actual refraction angle.

Manufactured in accordance with ASTM E164 and AWS 6.16.1B.
